    ephiphytes
  • What is your favorite gardening outfit or costume?
just remembering to wear a hat is a good start for me
  • Who is your own favorite gardening personality on TV, radio or in print? Why?
Tony Kienitz (author of "The Year I Ate My Yard"), because he is so enthusiastic about his love for plants and gardening and the natural world. It's infectious. (and his humour is theraputic!)
  • If you could grow only one plant, what would it be?
that's not a fair question. will have to think hard about that...
  • What plant have you tried to grow that has given you the most trouble? Or, what plant would you like to grow and can't, and why?
maiden hair fern (adiantum). although I just learned that when it drops all it's leaves and leaves only stems it is probably only dormant (and I had thought I killed it - again)!
  • What is your favorite color in the garden?
All of them! Nature has a way of having the most compelling style! Although for the front yard plan I am trying to use a color palette. Mainly to help unify a design and in an attempt to limit my plant choices (I can't have everything). So far I plan on choosing:

    flowers: blues/purples, yellow/oranges, white
    foliage: silvery grays/dusty greens
  • What is your favorite public or private garden in the world? Why?
in the world? well I have so many more to visit! but right now I am really enjoying Descanso Gardens in La Canada, California
  • Gardening Dilemmas
