Although Rosemary can be planted in the garden almost all year I prefer to buy in the spring and allow the new plant to adjust to the elements gradually. Also, the there always the best selection of plants at the nurseries in early sping.
When's a good time to plant this plant or bulb? Any special planting instructions?
Planting in early spring allows the plant to acclimate gradually before the harsh summer weather. Rosemary likes full sun.
Is there a time to reduce or increase watering? Any special requirements? Things to avoid during certain times of the year?
Rosemary is pretty drought tolerant but both too much and too little water can damage the plant.
The best method to water is during the growing season water deep and allow the plant to dry out between waterings.
