Description This is a medium sized, hot to warm growing orchid species with with ovate-oblong, compressed, edges acute, flattened-sides ribbed pseudobulbs carrying 1 or rarely 2, apical, oblong-lanceolate, leathery, acute leaves. 2 ft. It has flower spikes each with clusters of 2 to 5 flowers, and very showy 4" to 5" blooms.
General Comments One of the hardiest for cold tolerance of any of the Cattleya alliance. It is a very vigorous grower able to withstand temperatures between freezing up to as hot as 100 degrees.
