Aloe capitata var. quartzicola - a solitary plant has stemless rosettes to 2' across. The fleshy leaves, greenish when shaded, become purple-tinged with sun. Small dark red teeth edge margins. Dense 4" capitate racemes of orange buds open to 1"golden blooms in late winter. Please add to our list. Thanks.

Hi mrswong - I added this here www.themulch.com/plant-facts?id=90628 please note I think it's spelled a little different than you had Aloe capitata var. quartziticola (not quartzicola) - I'm pretty sure I got the name right :).
