White spots on my poinsettia

White spots on my poinsettia was created by larry
My poinsettia is in a particularly shady spot, every year about this time it develops large white spots that spread. Sometimes they grow so large they cover the whole leaf. I live pretty close to the coast in San Diego. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
