It is a very dark green ivy with a gold center. It is best used on trained up or trellis-like topiary because it is not self branching usually requiring pruning to get another new runner. Midas Touch is much like Golden Ingot but is usually deeper gold and darker green and the stems tend to be red. It is slower growing and harder to propagate but is worth all the effort once you have it growing. It is beautiful in hanging baskets and it is not hard to control in the landscape.
