The small, white flowers are a nectar favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies; mockingbirds love the fruit. It's always a "buzz" of activity.
It's very showy, exceedingly drought-tolerant, exceptionally hardy--and the hummingbirds LOVE it!
Produces beautiful yellow blooms almost all year. Fast grower. Best of all, plant it and you will soon have large, sulphur butterflies drifting around your yard! (It's their host plant.) Although considered "tropical" it survives our Alpine winters.
