    March
    1. Water

    when you cut the stems back, reduce watering but do not allow the soil to dry out completely.
    2. Prune

    After many of the leaves begin to turn yellow or drop off a potted plant, cut each stem back to two buds.
    3. Protect

    If all danger of frost has pasted, you can move the potted plant to outdoors in a sunny location. They can also be planted in the ground if you live in a location that does not freeze.

    When the plant begins to grow and send out new shoots and leaves, increase the watering. Do not over water but make sure the soil does not dry out.

    When the temperature warms up keep a close watch for whitefly.
