• Jacaranda - Jacaranda mimosifolia
  I love it because of the magnificance of the flowers when in bloom. The purple is so startling and eye-catching. The foliage is very attractive until if falls during the winter season.

• Live Oak - Quercus virginiana
  Live oaks are pleasant to view in the landscape of Southern California. They have beautiful structure and an admirable canopy of leaves.

• African Tulip Tree - Spathodea campanulata
  African Tulip Tree. Again, I love this tree for the huge flower clusters that it bears. There is a red-orange flowered one and a golden-yellow one.
