Favorite Features in the Garden
- Colors
In creating a garden it is important to see color even little bits to create interest.
- Different Elevations in the Garden
Gives visual interest to an otherwise dull garden. When you create mounds or raised beds it gives better drainage to the garden.
- Elements of Motion
Water features, grass plumes moving with the wind or artistic features that add movement such as wind sculptures. Motion adds a peacefulness that is relaxing. Also helps to emulate nature.
- Rocks
They add structure to the garden and a strong connection to nature.
- Shade
Use trees or covered arbors. It creates a comforting place to go and rest in the garden.
