after watching a few episodes of truck farm, i decided to try n do something similar...well a scaled down version might not work .. i got a few large containers and planted some jalapeƱos,serranos , and cauliflower plants in the back of my pick up truck. anyone have a similar thing going?

There are lots of veggies you can grow in container in So. Cal this time of the year. Pepper may not be the best, but you can give them a try. All of the 'root crops', Beets, Carrots, Onions, Radish etc. should do great. Leafy crops like Lettuce, Kale, Mustard, Cabbage, Cauliflower and more. Peas do fine in cool weather, if you are planting in containers try to find dwarf varieties, or perhaps Sugar Snap, it is tall growing so you would need to support it, but excellent an Pea variey. Usually you can buy some of these as small plants or seed is fine too. Usually you can find more 'variety' if you grow from seed, but some do have difficulty germinating seeds of you don't have much experience with them. I assum your truck does not move much?
