What has been your experience with mushroom compost? Any problem with salts in the compost? Any recommendations about using mushroom compost?

Hi Susi,
Not sure if you know Ampol, he has a nursery in San Marcos. He said he loves the stuff. He gets it from a mushroom farm in Escondido (for free). He mixes it with some of his other soil mixes. Ampol grows great Plumeria and grafted Gardeninas and tons of Poinsettias. I don't know for sure if he uses the mushroom compost in everything, but I know he thinks it is great stuff.
