Spinach
Plant Care Instructions By Steve Brigham

In coastal Southern California, spinach is planted from seed from September through March. Be sure to choose a non-bolting heat-resistant variety. Since spinach matures in around 7 weeks from seed, it is best to plant a small amount of seed at weekly intervals during the fall and winter in order to insure harvest throughout the growing season.
